The health and safety of our dancers is of the utmost importance to us. Thus, we will be implementing some specific protocols in relation to cleaning, class management, and studio operation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Specific policies and procedures are as follows (PLEASE READ):

// MASKS REQUIRED

o All teachers and students are required to wear masks in accordance with the governmental mandate and CDC recommendations.

// TEMPERATURE CHECKS

o Upon entering the dance rooms, all dancers will have their temperatures checked. Any dancer with a temperature above 100.4 will not be permitted in class.

// SOCIAL DISTANCING

o Upon entering classes, dancers will be directed to specific spots marked on the floor or on ballet barres that are six feet apart. For clarity, dancers may at times be within six feet of each other when going through choreography. However, they will be on their specific spots, socially distanced, at all other times.

// STUDENT SANITIZING

o Dancers will be required to use hand sanitizer as they enter each dance class.

// BACK DOOR ENTERING/EXITING

o Dancers will enter and exit classrooms through the back doors to each room located at the back of our building. Parents are welcome to wait in their cars.

// LIMITED FRONT LOBBY ACCESS

o The lobby will be open only to those who need to take care of account balances. We will be limiting the amount of people that are allowed in the lobby at one time. We will have specific markers on the floors for people to stand to ensure people are practicing social distancing. If all the markers are occupied, we ask that you wait outside until one becomes available. The front lobby will remain off limits for sitting and waiting for students. Masks required for entrance!

// LIMITED ACCESS TO RESTROOMS AND CHANGING AREAS

o We will be STRICTLY limiting access to changing rooms and bathrooms. Please have dancers use the restroom before coming to the studio! Dancers with multiple classes should come with appropriate shoes and outfits as we will closely monitor changing for different classes. The orange breakroom will remain off limits.

// WATER FOUNTAIN OFF LIMITS

o The water fountain in the front lobby will be off limits. We highly suggest students bring their own personal water bottles in order to stay hydrated.

// BETWEEN CLASS SANITIZATION

o We have invested in some industrial grade sanitizer from North Alabama Chemical. Teachers will be using it on dance floors in between each class.

// HEPA AIR PURIFIERS

o We have invested in HEPA air purifiers to aid in the elimination of contaminants in the air while dancers are in studio. These purifiers will be in operation during all dance classes.
